The FPA NorCal Conference has been providing advanced educational sessions for our members and affiliated financial professionals for 45 years.
The conference is held in San Francisco at the historic and elegant Palace Hotel.

This premier Conference has a national reputation for providing knowledgeable inspiring speakers and excellent networking opportunities for the more than 600 financial professionals who attend each year.
Michael Kitces named FPA NorCal as the “Best Overall Financial Planning Conference” on his blog for the third year in a row. “The FPA NorCal Conference is a “regional” conference conducted jointly by five northern California chapters of the Financial Planning Association.
But after running the FPA NorCal Conference continuously for 45 years(!), they have refined the process to the point that the quality of NorCal’s “regional” conference is on par with any national conference.”
The conference is planned by a volunteer committee of respected financial planners representing the five local Bay Area chapters.
Attendees include members from these local chapters in addition to financial advisors from all over the U.S.

- CFP® Board Credit; The attendance report will be filed with the CFP® Board within 15 business days of the Conference. Please do not count on credit from this conference to meet your minimum requirement if you deadline is earlier than June 30.
- MCLE Credit: The Conference is not filed with the State Bar.
- CPA Credit: The Conference technical sessions may qualify for CPA credit. Please contact the Conference Director for a letter confirming your attendance at the conference.
