      I think the idea laid out here (and it’s one that I agree with), is that the CRM provides many more features than just an address book, not the least of which is automation.

      If you have CRM with automation features, you’re able to essentially off-shore some of your time-consuming processes onto the CRM instead of wasting your time on them. Of course, you do the people-to-people interaction, but your CRM can take care of the mundane and routine tasks of each day.

      Not to mention, it also helps you run reports, provide tools for document and email creation, and gives you the ability to build out a more advanced email contact system than you’d be able to through simple contact managers.
