Leaderboard
The leaderboard is a popular and superior type of banner ad. With a standard dimension of 650 x 70 pixels, the leaderboard covers the width of the page and typically lies between the masthead (the title area at the top of the blog page) and the content. The advantage of the leaderboard is that it offers advertisers a generous amount of space in a prominent position without intruding on content.
