Advocates Trust Group, LLC, announced the formation of “Advocates Trust Services” a division of New York Private Trust Company, a Delaware chartered trust company and subsidiary of Emigrant Bancorp, Inc.

Advocates Trust Services will provide a personalized, high touch, comprehensive suite of trust services for clients of Advocates Trust Group. These services will include professional trustee expertise for irrevocable and revocable trusts located throughout the country, but especially in Delaware.

Advocates Trust Services is based in the Wilmington, Delaware headquarters of New York Private Trust Company, but the plan is to offer tailored services to attorneys in all 50 states, and abroad.  The division, in conjunction with ATG, LLC, will offer systems and programs that will enhance each attorney’s ability to customize trusts and other estate planning devices, to leave the client and their family in control of their assets when they have been placed in trust, and create an ongoing role for lawyers as trust advisors.
